4th Grade Notan

Positive and Negative, Contrast, and Space is all the rage in 4th grade. They loved making these cutouts!

Perspective

5th grade is making perspective drawings and adding in figures to show how close and far away figures in a room look different.

Foil Owl

I LOVE PINTEREST!!! I get so many amazing ideas from wonderful teachers that post lessons and ideas. So for all of them out there, THANK YOU! Art Club made foil drawings! They used hot glue, foil, colored sharpies, and black paint for an aged look! WOW!!!!

Arf!

2nd grade is getting ready for their play. The wonderful music teachers enlisted my help for the scenery and I got ART CLUB to help! How cool did these things turn out!?!!?

10 Year Reunion

Our school is celebrating it's 10th Birthday this year. I was so excited to paint the most interesting facts to display in the hallway! Did you know that a bobcat once came to the front door and our mascot, Trace, is the only living mascot in the district!

Lines, Lines and DRAGONS!

We are working on a unit studying the Principles and Elements of Design. Kinder is making dragons with awesome lines. The body of the dragon is filled with what they learned!!

Underwater Value

3rd grade learned about value, tints, shades, and hue. They created awesome value scales that make it look like they are underwater. They even added in space and perspective with fish being close and far away! Awesome work!

Busy Busy as a Bee in a Gallery

We have been so busy getting ready for the school's art show at the carnival. The work was all shipped away so I didn't get many pictures of it. But, WOW! The art show was amazing! How cool to display student work in such a fun and gallery like way!! Thanks to Artome and their amazing program, the art show was a hit!
