We are begining a unit of study on famous artists. I love that the kids learn and love what they are learning!

Mrs. Mackey's Owl
I worked very hard on my faculty art work and it was chosen for the cover! Yay! What an honor!
Organization Week!
Everyone was excited to organize their portfolios after Winter Break! Students got back all of thier work, finished worksheets, made a mess, cleaned it up, went the centers, learned that "ART Ketchup DAY" does not mean we are working with real Ketchup, and talked ART! It was AWESOME!!
Winter Break
Over winter break I was very busy! I went to Magnolia Market with my mom and daughters and saw some unique art pieces. I also made Grandma's secret jam. I painted "night-night" rocks for my girls, Addy and Brynn. AND we went to Gulf Shores at the border of Florida.
DI Christmas Party
Our DI team is working together to solve problems and conqure their creativity! And we had a great Holiday Party to celebrate!
Winter Week
We spend a week "KETCHing UP" on our art work. Those who were finished did some fun winter art work!
